Our Mission: It is our mission to provide the best programs, staff, and equipment to fully meet the various sporting needs of our local community. Besides providing excellent customer service and value to our customers, Unlimited Sports Action (“U.S.A.”) will create an exciting sports atmosphere that will add to the enjoyment of every customer at the facility. We will also be dedicated to the community and strive to support and sponsor local events. We hope to provide enjoyment and appreciation for sports and to encourage healthier lifestyles for all of our patrons in a safe, nurturing environment.
Unlimited Sports Action is a 13,000 sq. ft. indoor air-conditioned sports facility where our motto is “All Sports. All Day.” Specializing in baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, and softball, we offer a wide array of year-round activities including sport classes, private lessons, camps, clinics, leagues, private parties, field rentals, and batting cages.
We also offer private parties (birthday, bar / bat mitzvah, communion, adult birthdays, or any other special occasion). Celebrate with family and friends for one hour on the indoor turf field and then a half hour in one of our private party rooms. Our staff will tend to every need and detail. Our party packages include invitations, paper goods, pizza, beverages, cake, set-up, and clean-up. Choose up to three activities to play on the field including games like baseball, dodge ball, wiffleball, relay races, soccer, and much more!
Located at 30 Beechwood Avenue in Port Washington, New York, we have 13,000 square feet with:
-130 ft x 80 ft turf field
-10 Retractable Batting Cages
-5 Iron Mike Pitching Machines:
-3 Baseball (40 mph, 60 mph, 80 mph)
-2 Softball (1 fast pitch, 1 arc pitch)
-Pitcher’s mounds, lacrosse goals, soccer goals, and other training aids.
The facility is within walking distance to the L.I.R.R. and easily accessible from all major roadways.
About the Owner
A current Manhasset resident, Al Sontag is a graduate of Plainedge HS in North Massapequa where he lettered in several sports. He went on to Indian River College in Florida, where he was drafted twice by the Baltimore Orioles in 1983 before being drafted in the first round by the Minnesota Twins in 1984. He is an 18-year veteran and has had the opportunity to play with several other organizations including the St. Louis Cardinals and the California Angels. Al has also been a minor league pitching coach and manager and over the years has been involved in the local community teaching individual instruction, clinics, baseball camps, and multi-sport camps. Al’s ability to work with children and his commitment to to the improvement of athletes of all ages is incomparable.
