Mini Laxer [Ages 3 – 5] – Our instructors will focus on developing motor skills, hand-eye coordination, running control, basic lacrosse skills and rules, non-competitive games, and encourage students to cooperate and play together. This introductory class will incorporate skill building and will be a great introduction to sports without overwhelming the children with too much technical instruction. The class will help teach the children how to listen and follow instruction and also give them a chance to meet new friends all while having fun. This class will serve as an extremely strong foundation as the student matures and advances to the next level of lacrosse. There will be no contact or gear needed for this class unless you choose to bring your own lacrosse stick.

Junior Laxer [Ages 6 – 8] – In this junior level class, our instructors will focus on continuing motor skill development and will incorporate more technical aspects of lacrosse. Our instructors will teach the athletes shooting techniques, ground ball drills, offensive formations, as well as defensive skills and formations. The instructors will use props as well as incorporate games that use all of these skills and will help prepare them for our major league laxer class. There will be full-gear used in this class in order to get the athletes familiar with having gear on while being able to control their sticks.
Major League Laxer (MLL) [Ages 9 – 12] – Our major league laxer class is for our older students who are looking to build on their lacrosse skills at a high level. The athletes will develop proper technique for catching and throwing with both dominant and off hands. Our instructors will encourage movement with and without the ball. The athletes will develop proper shooting technique with both the right and left hands and our instructors will implement these skills into a scrimmage setting. The drills and games the athletes play will be more challenging and will continue to use the skills needed as the athletes develops. This class will incorporate more game-like situations and game-play in order to prepare the athletes for their travel and school teams. There will be full-gear used in this class.
